40d Custom Function Tips (disable shutter release focus & turn high ISO 3200 on)

If you only focus with the back AF-ON button and disable the shutter auto focus button do this:

Turn the Camera On
Hit Menu, Go to Custom Functions (Orange Camera Icon on Right)
Scroll to Custom Funtion IV (4) and Select
On 1, (Shutter button/AF-ON Button) Select 2

To Enable the high ISO (3200/H) feature:

Go to Custom Function I (1) [...]

I really enjoyed this glimpse of this photographer’s journey. Though he was technically very good I enjoyed his statement about capturing moments along with emotionally connecting with your subjects, as being the most important aspects of his work.

Getting back into The Groove
